Elliot Sokolov<\/strong> is a composer, songwriter and music producer who has composed for theater, film, dance, television, and the concert stage, as well as rock and R&B songs. His recent work includes a new musical, \u201cGreen,\u201d the musical \u201cSeneca Falls\u201d produced in 2017, and an opera, \u201cIcarus Rising,\u201d produced in 2015. He has scored music for more than 100 animations on Sesame Street, as well as scores for the films \u201cMichael Joseph Jason John,\u201d “Broadway Damage,\u201d “Kings Park: Stories From An American Mental Institution,” and “The Restless Conscience” (a documentary nominated for an Academy Award). Elliot has a Master\u2019s degree in music composition from Columbia University and has received a Composer Fellowship from the U.S. National Endowment for the Arts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
