They witness those times in people\u2019s lives where a connection is made and a life \u2014 thought not to be worth anything \u2014 is proven otherwise. <\/span><span class=\"s2\">Late<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">at<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">night<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> a <\/span><span class=\"s3\">young<\/span> <span class=\"s3\">man<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">encounters<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">a belligerent <\/span><span class=\"s3\">drunk <\/span><span class=\"s2\">while<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">waiting<\/span> <span class=\"s3\">for<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">a streetcar <\/span><span class=\"s5\">home.<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Whether<\/span> <span class=\"s3\">by<\/span> <span class=\"s3\">instinct, <\/span><span class=\"s2\">quick-thinking<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> or<\/span> <span class=\"s3\">a happy<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">accident,<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> frightening<\/span> <span class=\"s3\">things<\/span> <span class=\"s3\">oddly <\/span><span class=\"s2\">work<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">out.<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">Miracles<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">never<\/span> <span class=\"s2\">cease! <\/span><span class=\"s1\">This strange, off-beat play is based on an incident experienced by the playwright.
