The playwright has an uncanny knack for seeing inside the people in the paintings and pulling out contemporary issues, struggles, and observations, that could very well have been in the mind of the painting\u2019s subjects, and which most certainly live today in our minds, as well as being from the mind, brush and heart of one of America\u2019s greatest artists.
