Jerry Walker<\/strong> is a retired Band and Theater director. He was the director of bands at Oxford Hills High School in South Paris and Stearns High School in Millinocket. While in Millinocket he was also the theater director and directed the Jazz Ensembles. Since his retirement in 1999 he has acted in and directed plays and musicals at Schoolhouse: The \u201cHobbit,\u201d and \u201cNow I Lay Me Down To Sleep\u201d, \u201cThe Odd Couple\u201d and a group of one-act plays; Lake Region Community Theater, where he directed: \u201cThe Odd Couple\u201d, (female version), \u201cOliver\u201d and \u201cYou Can\u2019t Take It With You\u201d; Oxford Hills Community Theater, \u201cCarnival\u201d; and Windham Center Stage Theater: \u201cYou Can\u2019t Take It With You\u201d and \u201cOnce Upon A Mattress\u201d. He Directed \u201cMy Fair Lady\u201d and \u201cHello Dolly\u201d at Deertrees. Jerry is one of the founders of the Daytime Players as well as an actor and director in the ensemble. Some of his acting roles include Tevye in \u201cFiddler\u201d, Fagin in \u201cOliver\u201d, Scrooge in the \u201cA Christmas Carol\u201d, Fred in \u201cAll I Really Needed To Know I Learned Kindergarten\u201d, Kris Kringle in \u201cMiracle on 34th Street\u201d, Bellomy in \u201cThe Fantastiks\u201d, Sextimus in \u201cOnce Upon A Mattress\u201d, Erroneous in \u201cA Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum\u201d, Birdboot in \u201cThe Real Inspector Hound\u201d, Al Lewis in \u201cThe Sunshine Boys\u201d, and Samuel in \u201cA Little Something For The Ducks\u201d. He expended and directed \u201cNow I Lay Me Down To Sleep\u201d at Schoolhouse in 2004 and 2008.<\/p>\n
