Adapted from the Collodi Classic by E Gray Simons III
A wonderful telling of the tale that uses a company of 8 performers plus many wonderful and imaginative puppets to enliven Pinocchio’s story. The Blue Fairy creates Pinocchio from a block of wood and gets him to Geppetto. Pinocchio longs to be a real boy, and sets out to do so, meeting The Fire Master and his puppets, The Cat and the Fox, Lampwick and his fellows, A Sea Monster, and many others. Creative props and settings will aid this very theatrical version that uses many small props, along with hand-puppets, marionette-type puppets (or could be Punch and Judy types) and large, many-pieced-puppets manipulated by all the members of the company.
